Removing Windows Low Disk Space Warning

Follow the instructions below to remove Windows Low Disk Space Warnings from the Task Bar.

This is advantageous in situations where a recovery or maintenance partition is attached to the system and recognized as a drive.

Execute the Registry Editor


C:\Users\Administrator>regedit.exe

Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER->SOFTWARE->Microsoft->Windows->

CurrentVersion->Policies->Explorer

If an entry named ‘NoLowDiskSpaceChecks’ does not exist, create it.

Set the type of the entry to DWORD

Set the value of the entry to 1

Save your work

Reboot the system
