BindPlane Extends Stackdriver Monitoring with Log Streaming
by bluemedora_admin on April 9, 2019
Next ’19 San Francisco is finally here. We’re exhibiting at booth S1661 and excited to unveil our latest innovations supporting our collaboration with Google Stackdriver.
We launched BindPlane to address the crippling complexity of monitoring in hybrid cloud environments. Delivering IT monitoring integration as a service (MIaaS) addresses the common challenge most data center operations and DevOps teams experience – gaining a comprehensive view of what’s going on across their IT ecosystem. It dramatically expands observability for companies monitoring hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
And now it comes as part of Stackdriver at no extra cost.
BindPlane expands Google Stackdriver enterprise monitoring coverage with new logs and metrics integrations to improve observability and reducing data management.
The partnership brings to market an embedded Monitoring-Integration-as-a-Service, at no additional licensing cost to Stackdriver customers. A new log streaming capability (now in Alpha) simplifies extending Stackdriver’s observability and rapid root cause analysis to customer data centers and other public clouds.
With observability now a critical capability in the enterprise, operations data has to be readily available if we want full IT stack performance answers quickly. BindPlane’s log agent and streaming service takes an innovative approach to log analysis, that makes more sense for observability platforms like Stackdriver supporting use cases like performance optimization or security. The new service derives metrics from logs, and supports in-timeseries-context interrogation of log detail for troubleshooting.
