Tivoli Directory Server is the primary workspace for the ITDS monitoring agent's default node in the Tivoli Enterprise Portal (TEP). This workspace provides a dashboard view of overall ITDS health and status.
This workspace
contains the following views:
- Reachable
- The Reachable view indicates whether the monitored ITDS ibmslapd instance is reachable via LDAP or not. If Instance Reachable = False, the directory is not reachable and most of the workspaces and views for the agent will not contain data.
- Ports
- The Ports view is a that indicates the TCP/IP ports the ibmslapd and ibmdiradm servers are configured to listen on.
- Server Information
- The Server Information view is a table that indicates the hostname of the monitored ITDS ibmslapd instance, the version number, the ITDS instance name, and whether the instance is running in Configuration mode or not.
- Connections
- The Connections view is a table that indicates the maximum number of concurrent connections the monitored ITDS ibmslapd instance is configured to have open, the number of current connections, and the connection utilization (Current Connections / Max Connections).
- Errors
- The Errors view contains a table that indicates the total number of log messages of the type ERROR in ibmslapd.log slapd cli logs since the server was started.
- Work Queue
- The Work Queue view contains a bar graph that displays the number of Available Workers and the Current Work Queue Size.
