I’m pleased to announce that Blue Medora has expanded our existing relationship with IBM to include the Blue Medora ITM Agent for Citrix XenServer. Initially released in December 2010, the Citrix XenServer ITM Agent is now available exclusively as part of the IBM’s Tivoli Monitoring for Virtual Servers v623 release.
Our unique partnership with IBM-Tivoli enables us to develop innovative products exclusively for IBM’s flagship Service Availability and Performance Management (SAPM) products including ITM, ITCAM, TBSM, and TADDM. IBM choosing to make the Citrix XenServer agent available as part of the IBM Tivoli Monitoring for Virtual Servers bundle re-enforces Blue Medora’s deep expertise in developing and bringing to market world class product integration for the IBM-Tivoli ITM and ITCAM product lines.
As a result of the transition of the agent to IBM, the Blue Medora version of the agent will be withdrawn from market and will no longer be available for download / evaluation directly from Blue Medora.
The IBM version of the agent is available today through traditional IBM software distribution channels (Passport Advantage, PartnerWorld, etc) under the following product name / part numbers:
- IBM Tivoli Monitoring for Virtual Servers Citrix XenServer 6.2.3 Multiplatform English eAssembly (CRDY6EN)
- IBM Tivoli Monitoring for Virtual Servers for Citrix XenServer V6.2.3 (TMVS) Windows and Linux, English (CZVE3EN)
